You can now vote for the UK's best Chinese restaurant at the first ever British Chinese Food Awards

Do you know a chow mein that’s off the chain? Where to find the best bao buns in Blighty? A kung pow chicken that kicks the competitors into the dust? (Ok, I might be getting a bit carried away with the food puns now…)

If you do, we have some great news for you: you can now nominate your favourite Chinese restaurant in the UK for the first ever British Chinese Food Awards.

Celebrating ‘delicious Chinese cuisine’ and ‘the entrepreneurial spirit, hard work and sheer raw talent of Chinese restaurateurs in the UK’, the awards will feature 9 regional categories for different areas of the UK, including London Central and London Suburbs.

Other categories will include Best Street Food, Best Fusion and Best Chef. There’s also a category for Best Takeaway – and with a recent survey finding that Chinese food is Britain’s favourite Deliveroo option, it’s likely there will be plenty of contenders.

Nominations will be open until 10th November and you can cast your vote here. Winners will be announced at an awards ceremony on 10th December. Sino will be here to keep you posted on the results!
